NOTE: QCBD is software designed for manufacturing firms to manage their quality system (quality assurance / quality control). In general, it is not suitable for non-manufacturing such as construction, hospitals, doctor's offices, police and fire departments, military, municipalities, educational institutions and public service organizations.

WINDOWS versus WEB

QCBD is a Windows based application, NOT a web application.

QCBD is a Windows-based application offering a rich, full featured working environment with greater performance and speed than any web-based application can provide.

QCBD routinely performs four times (4X) faster than the fastest web application available.

NETWORKING

QCBD Standard Edition uses a totally secured MS Access database operating over your existing local area network (LAN). Compatible with Windows 2003, NT or 2000 server. (Installs on your existing server. No additional hardware purchases are required. Does not require MS Access to be installed.)

QCBD Enterprise Edition uses MS SQL Server 2000 / 2005 / 2008 operating over your existing wide area network (WAN). (MS SQL Server 2000 / 2005 and server hardware are purchased separately.)

CLIENT WORKSTATION

The client application is less than 12 MB in size and runs on Windows Vista, XP, 2000 and 2003 operating systems.

Each workstation must have Microsoft Office installed (Standard Edition or higher, version 2002 or higher), however does not require MS Access.

Supported email client software includes MS Outlook, MS Outlook Express and Lotus Notes.

CONNECT REMOTELY

Access your data from anywhere in the world.

QCBD Enterprise Edition users can run QBCD from any facility operating on the same wide area network (WAN). Off-site users can connect via VPN over a broadband connection.

QCBD Standard Edition users at remote locations can connect and run QCBD as if they were in the office. (Requires separate remote connectivity license. Requires broadband connection to a locally configured Terminal Services or Citrix server. Additional hardware may be required.)
