Reports
With QCBD™ you can create powerful reports quickly.
Example: Creating Monthly (or quarterly) Reports
The following is an example of how to create a series of reports
which you run at some regular frequency. This example used the
NONCONFORMING MATERIAL module as a test case. Everything shown can be repeated
for other modules (i.e. Complaints or Corrective Actions)
to give a complete performance evaluation.
Initially when you enter the report screen, you see all records.
We want to filter this list to show only open records for a specific customer.
Next, specify the filter criteria and since we will re-use this same filter next month we will save the criteria as a Saved Query. The criteria you specify can be based on any of the data fields that appear on the Nonconformance screen.
Form this report, we use all the data or specify a particular timer interval;
I can now select from the available report types;
Detailed and Summary Reports
Detailed and Summary reports are tabular reports with details about each nonconformance.
Trend Reports
The Trend Report is a graphic report showing the number of nonconformance’s per month.
Pareto Reports
The Pareto Report a graphic report showing the frequency of nonconformance’s broken down by various categories.
Call To Action
QCBD has two powerful tools to keep you aware of all open, outstanding issues; The Dashboard and the Report Engine.
Dashboard
The Dashboard View is available from the QCBD Main Menu. This tool gives you a quick snapshot of all open issues that require your attention.
Automatic Report Engine
You can also use the QCBD Automatic Report Engine module to “subscribe” to reports. Any Saved Queries that you create are available to send using the Report Engine.
Reports run unattended, according to a selected schedule (you do not need to log onto QCBD to retrieve reports). The reports are emailed to recipients that you select. All reports are output as Excel files which are then attached to the email.
With the QCBD Report Engine, you select the report you want, specify who to send the report to and how frequently to run the report.
